In this comedy horror spoof, a group of gangsters attempts to smuggle gold treasure out of Cuba by pretending that a sea monster is attacking. Chaos ensues as the fake monster becomes all too real.

A man with amnesia named Steve Rawley undergoes brain surgery to remove a bullet from his head. After the surgery, he is asked by the police to help them find the hidden loot from a past robbery. As Steve tries to piece together his memories, he becomes suspicious of those around him and starts planning a heist of his own. With the help of his girlfriend Peg, Steve must outwit the police and his own forgotten past to pull off the perfect crime.
