The Stand (1994)

In The Stand, a deadly pandemic caused by a man-made superflu wipes out most of humanity. The survivors, drawn to either Mother Abagail, an elderly woman with supernatural powers, or Randall Flagg, a demonic figure, must choose between good and evil as they navigate a post-apocalyptic world. Set in various locations across the United States, the story revolves around the battle between the forces of light and darkness.
