The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant (2005)

In this TV mini-series set in the late 18th century, Mary Bryant, a young woman from Cornwall, is convicted of petty theft and transported to the penal colony in Australia. Together with her husband and fellow convicts, Mary embarks on a treacherous journey through the sea, facing hardships, betrayal, and danger. Determined to escape their harsh conditions and reunite with their children, Mary and her companions devise a daring plan to sail back home to England.
