Tamako Market is a heartwarming story about Tamako, a cheerful and energetic high school student who helps run her family's mochi shop in a shopping district. One day, she comes across a talking bird named Dera who claims to be a royal court messenger searching for a bride for his prince. As Tamako befriends Dera and helps him with his mission, she also navigates through her daily life surrounded by her friends and acquaintances.
