Sweetness & Lightning follows the story of a single father, Kohei Inuzuka, and his young daughter, Tsumugi. After the death of Tsumugi's mother, Kohei struggles to balance his role as a math teacher with being a parent. Inspired by Tsumugi's love for food, Kohei begins to learn how to cook, and together they embark on culinary adventures. Along the way, they make new friends, face challenges, and discover the importance of family, friendship, and the joy of experiencing new flavors.
