Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a dark fantasy TV show that follows the story of Madoka Kaname, a middle school girl who is approached by a magical creature named Kyubey. Kyubey offers Madoka and her friend Sayaka the chance to become magical girls and grant any wish they desire. However, in exchange for their powers, they must fight witches, powerful creatures born from despair. As they embark on their journey, Madoka and Sayaka soon realize the true price they must pay for their wishes.
