Gon Freecss is a young boy who lives on Whale Island. He discovers that his father, who he was told was dead, is actually alive and a renowned Hunter, a licensed individual who can track down secret treasures, rare beasts, or even other individuals. Gon decides to follow in his father's footsteps and become a Hunter himself. Along the way, he meets and befriends other aspiring Hunters, each with their own unique abilities and motivations. Together, they navigate treacherous challenges, face formidable foes, and uncover dark secrets that threaten their lives and the world as they know it.
