An elf and her friends defeat a demon king in a great war but must now find a new way of life. Time passes differently for elves, and as her companions slowly pass away, the elf witnesses their deaths. Before his death, a companion leaves a young human apprentice in her care. Together, they embark on a journey to revisit the places the heroes of the past had been to and confront the elf's regrets of missed opportunities to form deeper bonds with her now-deceased comrades.
