Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is set in an alternate universe where the Holy Britannian Empire has conquered Japan and renamed it Area 11. Lelouch Lamperouge, a former prince living under a false identity, gains the power of Geass, which allows him to control anyone just by looking into their eyes.
