Campione! is about a high school student named Godou Kusanagi who becomes a god slayer after defeating the god of war, Verethragna, in a battle. He gains the powers of a Campione, a god killer, and is suddenly thrust into a world where gods and mythical beings exist. As a Campione, Godou must navigate through various challenges and battles while dealing with the attention and affections of several girls who are also involved with gods and supernatural beings.
