Recovering alcoholic and divorcee, Bergerac is an unconventional detective with a troubled past. He has a love-hate relationship with his ex-wife, Susan, and often finds himself investigating cases that involve her new husband. With the beautiful scenery of the Channel Islands as a backdrop, Bergerac uses his sharp detective skills to solve crimes and bring justice to the island.
