During World War II, an Irish Catholic priest named Hugh O'Flaherty risks his life to hide and protect Jews in Rome, Italy. He collaborates with a resistance group and uses the Vatican as a safe haven. Despite constant dangers and threats from the SS, O'Flaherty continues his mission to save lives.
