A nurse is hired to care for a woman on a Caribbean plantation, but she soon realizes that the woman may actually be a zombie. As she investigates further, she uncovers a web of voodoo rituals, superstition, and dark secrets. With the help of a doctor and the plantation owner, she sets out to find a cure and unravel the mystery surrounding the zombie phenomenon.
