Filmmaker Olly Lambert spends two months on Ukraine’s southern frontline with volunteer special forces as they begin the push to capture Kherson. The film follows “Hummer”, an experienced military commander who now finds himself a chaperone to completely inexperienced forces on the frontline.

In the midst of the war in Eastern Ukraine, a group of unlikely leaders including an actor, a soccer coach, and a florist come together to form a volunteer army. As they navigate the challenges of war and power struggles, they find themselves in comical situations that test their leadership abilities.
