When US Army Master Sergeant Cody Cullen receives a Christmas card from a stranger, he is determined to thank her in person. He travels to the small town of Nevada City, where he meets Faith, a woman engaged to be married. As he spends time in the close-knit community, Cody begins to feel a deep connection with Faith and her family. A love triangle ensues as Cody and Faith start to fall for each other, leaving her current boyfriend jealous and conflicted. In the end, Cody must decide whether to leave and continue his military service or stay and pursue a future with Faith.
