An eight-year-old boy investigates knocking sounds from inside his walls, revealing a dark secret his sinister parents have kept from him. With the help of a mysterious entity named Sarah, he discovers that his parents are evil and has to make a choice between saving himself or his older sister, who his parents have locked away. In the end, he kills his parents and imprisons Sarah, but she warns him that she will always haunt him.

During their vacation, a group of friends find themselves stranded on an abandoned island.
