Cutter's Way follows Richard Bone, a gigolo who becomes entangled in a murder conspiracy after witnessing a crime. Together with his friend Alex Cutter, a Vietnam War veteran with a prosthetic arm and an eye patch, they embark on a mission to expose the truth and seek revenge. As they delve deeper into the investigation, they uncover a web of deceit, leading to a bittersweet ending.

Valo, who recently moved to Raahe, gets bullied. After rescuing an abandoned dog, Valo finds a friend in it, whom she names Roi. Together, the friends end up investigating the mysterious disappearance of a neighbor boy.

The screenplay for this mystery is based upon a story suggested to Liberty Magazine by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It is the tale of a prominent lawyer who shocks his snooty friends, family and colleagues by abruptly abandoning his successful practice and his wife to find true happiness. He soon falls in love with another woman and continues to keep a low profile until he learns that his first wife stands accused of murdering him
