In 'Little Joe,' a scientist creates a genetically engineered plant that is supposed to make people happy. However, as she begins to distribute the plant, she starts to suspect that it may have a darker side. The plant seems to exert a mind control-like influence on its caretakers, causing them to become emotionally detached from their loved ones. As paranoia sets in, the scientist must uncover the truth about the plant's effects before it's too late.
