For the Birds is a comedic short animation that tells the story of a group of birds sitting on a telephone wire. The larger bird laughs at them, teaching them a lesson about prejudice and snobbery.

In "Pent-House Mouse," Tom the cat is famished and tries to catch Jerry the mouse in a high-rise apartment building that is under construction. Tom uses various cartoon physics and objects like a barrel, telephone wire, girder, and more to try to catch Jerry. Meanwhile, a dog show is taking place in the building and adds to the chaotic situation. The plot is filled with surrealism and hyperbolic physical distortions.
