Sweet Bird of Youth follows a drifter named Chance Wayne who returns to his hometown in Florida and reunites with his former girlfriend, Heavenly Finley. Chance hopes to win back Heavenly and become a movie star, but he must contend with her corrupt politician brother and their volatile relationship. As Chance's dreams begin to unravel, he must confront the harsh reality of his past and the consequences of his actions.
