In a small town in Germany, a retired cop is haunted by the death of his wife and the guilt of not being able to solve a rape case from his past. When a child witness comes forward with new information about the case, the retired cop becomes obsessed with finding the truth and bringing the pedophile to justice.

The siblings Linus, 19-years-old, who are taking driving license and Vanja, 17-years-old, who's still in school. Their mom Eva works night shift at a hotel. We get to follow them during one month.
