Herbie, the loveable Volkswagen Beetle, goes to Monte Carlo to compete in the famous rally. Along the way, Herbie gets involved in a diamond heist and finds himself in the middle of a thrilling adventure. With the help of his friends, Herbie must outsmart the thieves and bring the stolen diamonds back to safety.

Heading west for his health, Colonel Lambeth takes his daughter Rill along. Lost on the desert they are saved by Pecos and Chito. The Colonel hires the two and the Lambeths soon find themselves mixed up in Pecos' trouble. Pecos has killed Sawtelle's brother and Sawtelle as head of the vigilantes is after him.

Three Post Office employees are at work when the facility is held up. The robber kills the supervisor and knocks out another employee. The third one offers no resistance and survives unscathed. Afterwards he begins to wonder if his refusal to resist was a prudent move to preserve his family, or an act of cowardice, as many in the town believe. The resulting conflict begins to tear apart his family.
