For Love of the Game is a movie about a legendary baseball pitcher, Billy Chapel, who is contemplating his career and his personal life during what might be his final game. As he takes the mound for the Detroit Tigers, Chapel reflects on his past while facing the pressures of the game. Alongside his performance on the field, he navigates his relationship with his girlfriend and her teenage daughter, and contemplates his future as he reaches the end of his baseball career.
When Bugs Bunny attends a baseball game, he wreaks havoc on the players and the umpire with his comedic antics and dirty tricks.
Bugs tells stories to his nephew Clyde derived from earlier cartoons ("Baseball Bugs", "Stage Door Cartoon", "Rabbit Punch", "Falling Hare", and "Haredevil Hare").
Bobo the Elephant is baseball team mascot for the lean and meek Sweetwater Shnooks, all of whom are rendered unconscious by their opponents, the husky and brutal Greenville Goons. The Shnooks' manager, rather than forfeit the game, decides to bring in Bobo to play every position - and he does rather well!
It begins with the Mustangs in trouble in their championship series... all the players are banged up and they're being clobbered. But a sports reporter insists that his nephew, Minor, can really play ball and will help the team win.
In this story he comes to the rescue of a baseball team and becomes the star pitcher and hitter.
