In Life or Something Like It, a reporter named Lanie is given a prophecy by a homeless man that she only has a few days to live. As she tries to come to terms with her impending death, she must reevaluate her priorities and decide what is truly important in life. Along the way, she navigates her complicated relationship with her fiance, confronts her fear of commitment, and learns to appreciate the simple joys in life.
