After Dan gets knocked down, he accuses the stranger of having something in the glove; the ref finds four horseshoes and a horse. After the fight goes on a while with no conclusion, the narrator tosses a couple of guns, the lights go out, and Dan is shot or is he?

Long John Silver forces the Captain to bet his house in a cockfight. It's John's champion rooster, the Honduras Hurricane, versus the Captain's: a scrawny bird with a bad cold. The boys replace the sick bird with a violent baby eagle.

Betty Boop and Freddie appear on stage in a melodrama, wherein Betty sings the title song to the villain.

Popeye and Bluto are knights, jousting for the honor of Sleeping Beauty (Olive, with long blonde hair). Of course, Bluto plays dirty, squirting grease on the field in front of Popeye's horse, and using an extra-long lance. But Popeye wins anyhow, and climbs SB's tower with Bluto right behind him. They fight over her, playing tug-of-war with her pigtails.

Bluto and Popeye are vacationing on a men's only island, when Olive happens by on a shipwreck raft. They both pretend to ignore her, but woo her behind each other's back.

A mother puts her baby boy in an outdoor playpen, but he's more mature than she realizes, and quickly breaks out, and with the help of a raccoon and a squirrel, they are soon raiding the watermelon patch. Mother returns: turns out it's moving day, and the family is moving to the city.
