In 1945, an American sergeant and his buddies are in India, where they stumble upon a snake-worshipping cult. One of the soldiers secretly photographs the ceremony. Years later, the soldier's friends are being murdered, one by one, by a giant cobra. They all had the opportunity to betray the cult, and they all had motive. Frustrated by their failure to provide the snake dance photo the cult back in 1945, the cult's leader comforts himself that he can now have his vengeance by killing them off with reptiles the vengeful goddess Kali would approve of.

Black-and-white fantasy film centred around a king who loses his sight and uses the forces of the ‘serpent world’ to get his sight back. He orders a young man working in the palace to descend into the world, and in the process, the young man falls in love with the serpent princess.
