The Hollowheads are a middle-class family who live in an underground bunker, trying to survive the absurdities of their daily lives. The father, Mr. Hollowhead, is an abusive boss at his job, while the mother, Mrs. Hollowhead, tries to maintain a dysfunctional family dinner. Their son and daughter navigate the challenges of living in a society filled with sleazy bosses, sexual predators, and bizarre creatures like an alien dog and a parasite. The film explores themes of social satire, family relationships, and the human struggle in a dystopian future.

In May of 2024, Sludgelung went on a short tour throughout the southeast United States. This was the first time in over twenty years that a band from Starkville Mississippi has been on tour. After a last-minute decision, the tour was set and organized in just a couple of weeks. With no experience, the band set out to tour through six cities across four states in under a week. Knowing the trials and tribulations, the band sought to prove that it could be done.
In January of 2025, Sludgelung went on a short tour throughout the midwestern United States. This was the band’s second tour, and easily the most hazardous one. While on the road, the tour was caught in the middle of two historic winter storms, but it wasn’t a complete disaster because this run saw some of the band’s most iconic performances. Even though the band dealt with record snowfall and historic low temperatures, they were able to make the most out of it.
In November of 2024, Proof Bakery opened its doors to the DIY community is Starkville. Unfortunately, the bakery was forced to relocate the following year. But Between November of 2024 and September 2025, the Bakery was a haven for DIY shows. This is a compilation of all the local artists who’ve played shows at the bakery.
