Down-and-out artist Joe Manning wakes up from a night of drunken revelry in a jail cell, where he's being held on suspicion for the murder of a nightclub singer.

At a residence hotel, Patsy is moving in with Thelma. Thelma has prepared some rules, including singing whenever one feels quarrelsome or angry. Although Thelma tells Patsy that they'll share everything, there's precious little closet or drawer space for Patsy's clothes, little room to maneuver around Thelma in the bathroom, and then a sleepless night for Patsy when Thelma goes sleepwalking. Can they share and share alike, or will Patsy keep on singing?

A Masquers' Club spoof short. Newly-weds spend their wedding night in a run-down hotel, watched over by an under-employed house detective. When the bride goes missing, the groom (Horton) is chief suspect number one. Fortunately, the cops are completely incompetent.

Paul McCullough spends most of the picture in a dress, and Bobby Clark does an extended riff on the word "Alright!" which Lou Costello later stole verbatim. There is a political frameup, a nearsighted hotel house detective, and the ever-popular upstairs motorcycle chase.
