During the post-American Civil War period in Texas, a sheriff is captured by a traitor and must seek revenge while uncovering police corruption. Along the way, he confronts a cult-favorite villain with a facial scar and forms an unlikely alliance with a biracial cowboy. Together, they fight against a corrupt sheriff and his gang of criminals. Set in the small town of Rio Lobo in the year 1865, this movie explores themes of betrayal, justice, and the aftermath of war.
Frivolous Senta is thrown out of her residence for a reason later explained. Owning just a suitcase and the clothes on her back (a raincoat) she decides to hitch a ride. To help achieve her goal she flashes her naked body to an unsuspecting driver, who crashes his car in disbelief. This little stunt lands her in court, but since she has no money to pay for the damages she is sentenced to... write down her memoirs! Inspired by classic erotic literature, Senta's writings predominantly feature her past sexual encounters - presented as flashbacks - up to the point which led her into court.
What seemed like a naive adventure of love becomes a tragedy, since our protagonist Javier, being seduced by young friends of his uncle, discover a hidden plot: "The Oedipus complex". This trauma leads Javier to cause an accident in which his mother's lover dies and unfortunately herself. But the tragedy will continue.
