Jamaican singer-songwriter Bob Marley overcomes adversity to become the most famous reggae musician in the world.
Derice Bannock, a Jamaican sprinter, dreams of winning gold at the Olympic Games like his father. However, after a mishap during the trials, his dreams are shattered. Determined to compete, Derice forms the first Jamaican Bobsled Team with the help of disgraced coach, Irving Blitzer. Together they recruit three other athletes, Sanka, Yul, and Junior, and train rigorously for the Winter Olympics in Calgary. Despite facing ridicule and challenges, the team perseveres and finally qualifies for the Olympics. With the odds against them, the Jamaican team competes with determination, representing their country with pride and dignity.
