Wendell Baker, a convict, uses fake identification to land a job at an old age home where he falls in love with a nurse. After realizing the home is being taken over by a corrupt manager, Wendell teams up with his fellow inmates to expose the insurance scam. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles including the police, border patrol, and undercover cops. Through their determination and wit, they manage to save the home and find redemption.
