Journey to the Centre of the Earth is a 1977 adventure movie based on the novel of the same name. It follows a group of explorers who embark on a perilous journey to the center of the Earth, encountering dinosaurs, steampunk technology, and other dangers along the way.

A 14-year-old boy lies about his age and enlists in the United State Marine Corps without his family's consent or knowledge. He is sent into battle in the Pacific war-zone, decorated, and spotted in a newsreel by his family. The family asks the War Department to discharge him and send him home.

Langåsen boarding school has its 50th year anniversary, and the students are to make a celebration show in the auditorium. Trouble is brewing when a school inspector is to visit the school at the same time.
