Laala Manaka is a 5th-grader at Paprika Academy. Like most girls, she admires the world of PriPara, a sport that tests idol girls on song, dance, and fashion. Unfortunately for her, her school does not allow elementary school students to participate in PriPara. However, through miraculous circumstances, Laala passes the audition to become a PriPara idol.

PriChan is a channel where anyone can become an idol! Every girl dreams about producing her own sparkling, exciting channel and becoming a popular PriChan Idol! First-years at Kirarigaoka Middle School, Momoyama Mirai and Moegi Emo, end up making their own PriChan debut out of a feeling of rivalry towards their classmate, the PriChan Idol Akagi Anna. Bringing the knowledgeable straight-A student Aoba Rinka into their group, they begin to craft their new channel while dreaming about becoming PriChan Idols!

It is three years after the legendary Prism Queen Cup, and Aira Harune, Rizumu Amamiya, and Mion Takamine have become famed Prism Stars, spreading the glamor and radiance of Prism Shows wherever they perform. However, they encounter an unexpected challenge from a passionate and lively girl, Mia Ageha, who has publicly declared her intent to defeat Aira and become the greatest Prism Star. Sensing her potential, the Prism Show agency Pretty Top recruits Mia alongside three other aspiring Prism Stars—Karin Shijimi, Reina Miyama, and Ayami Ooruri—to form an idol group, Prizmmy. But the road to stardom is not easy: Mia has to deal with an old friend's unexpected appearance, this time as her rival, as well as navigate her way through the alluring yet conniving world of Prism Shows. PriPara the Movie: Everyone, Assemble! Prism ☆ Tours is a film based on and starring the characters from PriPara. The film is scheduled to begin showing in theaters across Japan from March 7, 2015. The plot will focus on Laala Manaka finding out about Saints' top idol journey, and will feature the return of many characters from across all the Pretty Rhythm series.

Laala and friends go on a "Puchū Tour". They visit various planets around the solar system to spread the word about how wonderful PriPara is, but challenges await on each planet.

Fly Out, PriPara: Aim for it with Everyone! Idol☆Grand Prix is a 3D film based on and starring the characters from PriPara.
