A washed-up star named Jack Andrus, who suffered a mental breakdown several years ago, is given a chance to revive his career when he is offered a role in a new film being shot in Rome. However, upon arriving in Rome, he is faced with various challenges including his unfaithful ex-wife, a mentor-protege relationship, and his own personal demons of alcoholism and infidelity. Jack must confront his past mistakes and find redemption, all while navigating the glamorous and treacherous world of filmmaking.

Chet Kasedon is after the Indians hidden gold mine but Chief Moya will not reveal it's location. He has also hired mining engineers Gale and Mortimer to locate the mine. When Gale sees Kasedon's cruelty to Moya, he switches sides.

Left alone by his wife, Fatty joins a poker game across the hall from his apartment and is left to face the law when the game is raided by police. He is given shelter by a neighbor, Mrs. Kennedy, leading to suspicions that they are romantically involved.
