Rooster's Breakfast is a drama/romance film that explores the lives of the characters in a small Hungarian village. The story follows a car mechanic who struggles with alcoholism and an unfaithful wife. When he gets discharged from jail, he tries to start a new life by getting a new job. However, his past catches up with him, leading to a series of events involving a car crash, a concert, a brothel, and a birthday party. As he navigates through the complexities of rural life, he discovers the true meaning of love and forgiveness.
