From the Edge of the City (1998) follows the lives of two young men in a suburban neighborhood as they navigate through issues of sexuality, prostitution, and the pursuit of happiness. The feelings of a young lady for a Pontian Greek, whom his fellow countrymen call "the disgrace of Pontus", is obvious to everyone.
