SFC James Harper, a decorated Green Beret, is discharged from the army and faces financial ruin. He joins a private military company led by Rusty and goes on an operation in Germany. They discover a Middle Eastern scientist working for Al-Qaeda and raid his lab. Harper reluctantly kills the scientist and sets the lab on fire. The team is ambushed, but Harper saves his friend Mike and they hide. Harper provides a blood transfusion to save Mike's life. Later, Harper realizes he can never return home and seeks revenge on Rusty, ultimately reuniting with his family.
