When an 11-year-old boy accidentally receives a blank check for one million dollars, he embarks on a wild spending spree, buying expensive toys and attracting the attention of a ruthless gangster who is determined to get the money back. With the help of his friends, the boy manages to outsmart the gangster and teach him a lesson in the process.

A woman, who has just separated from her husband, comes to stay at the villa of the friend. The friend is away (and throughout the whole movie only appears as a voice on the phone), but the woman's goofy son (who looks like he just escaped from the Monkees) is staying there too. The son falls for her, not surprisingly since she always dresses in skimpy miniskirts or bikinis, and rarely closes the door when she is changing clothes or showering.

A high school teacher named Germain becomes fascinated by the writing of one of his students, Claude. He secretly begins reading Claude's personal journal and becomes increasingly involved in his life, even going so far as to manipulate events to provide material for Claude's stories. As the line between reality and fiction blurs, Germain's obsession with Claude's work leads to unexpected consequences for both of them.

A young boy mourns the death of his father, and begins a quest to find his mother. He encounters many people on the way who quote Buddhist precepts: an eccentric monk, a girl who grows up into a young woman, a prison inmate, a foul-mouthed doctor and the young son of a hard drinking astronomer. Each of them tell the boy to seek someone to help him find the truth and his mother.

Narcoleptic Finnish naturist as beautiful as Venus is on vacation in Southern France with her husband. She goes for a walk in the field naked and gets lost. A local kid takes her to his village to help her as well as brag to his friends.
