High-strung architect Peter Highman is flying home to LA for the birth of his first child. Due to some Apatow-esque farcical events involving aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay, Peter ends up being shot by an air marshal and put on a no-fly list. As luck would have it, Ethan offers Peter a ride to LA as he is traveling there too. The two men clash immediately, but they discover that Ethan has a second motive for his travels: to scatter his recently deceased father's ashes. As they journey together, their relationship is tested, but they eventually develop a bond. They face numerous obstacles and challenges along the way, but in the end, they make it to the hospital just in time for Peter's child's birth.

Dashing Through the Snow follows a woman who reluctantly takes a road trip with a man she suspects of stealing her identity. As they travel together, they find themselves growing closer and discovering the true meaning of Christmas.
