In this anarchic comedy, a businessman named Victor Pivert is invited to a wedding in Paris. However, chaos ensues when he is mistaken for a rabbi and gets kidnapped by a group of revolutionaries. To escape, he disguises himself as a rabbi and hilarity ensues as he navigates through various comical situations.
