A sorcerer tears pages from a book and escapes with the help of his followers. Renowned surgeon Dr. Strange, after a car accident, loses the ability to use his hands. He travels to Nepal and learns about the mystical world from the Ancient One. Strange trains in Kamar-Taj and discovers the existence of other dimensions. A former student of the Ancient One, Kaecilius, steals a spell and plans to call in Dormammu from the Dark Dimension to take over the world. Strange must use his newfound powers to stop him and protect Earth.
