After discovering a long-lost passenger ship, a salvage crew realizes that the ship's inhabitants are still on board and haunted. As they try to tow the ship to shore, they experience strange occurrences and find themselves trapped. The crew members are killed off one by one as they uncover the dark secrets of the ship. Eventually, they learn that the crew turned on the passengers in an attempt to obtain the ship's gold. They must confront the malevolent spirit behind the haunting and find a way to escape the ghost ship.

Anna Leonowens, a strong-willed and opinionated British schoolteacher, travels to Siam (now Thailand) in the 1860s to become the tutor for the children of King Mongkut.
