In 1954, a teenage boy named Ralph becomes inspired to enter the Boston Marathon in hopes of miraculously healing his comatose mother. With the guidance of a sympathetic priest and his own determination, Ralph trains vigorously to overcome the odds and accomplish his seemingly impossible dream.
