A princess and a pirate join forces to find a valuable treasure map that leads to buried treasure on a Caribbean island. Along the way, they encounter murder, kidnapping, and a chase filled with slapstick comedy. The two navigate through dangerous situations, including sword fights and rescues, while discovering their feelings for each other.

Jim Hawkins has been trying to keep his merchant ships out of the hands Captain Savage, an officer who's been hunting down English ships for his own gain. In trying to avoid Savage, Jim ends up meeting a young woman and instantly is attracted to her.
