The Gypsy follows the story of a charismatic Romani man who becomes entangled in a web of crime and deception in Paris. As tensions rise, he must navigate dangerous territory to protect the ones he loves.
Trespass Against Us (2016) follows the story of a family of outlaws living in a caravan in England. The domineering father leads the family in a life of crime, including burglaries and police chases. The son, torn between loyalty to his family and a desire for a better life, finds himself caught in a dangerous situation that threatens to tear the family apart.
Anna returns from Africa, where he worked two years in an NGO, and is hired as a security guard at an exclusive health center on the outskirts of Barcelona. By breaking with her boyfriend and go home, a colleague leaves a camper as temporary housing. Spend a few weeks on a wilderness camping and then installed in the parking lot of a service area of the highway. On a night patrol work meets a young, admitted by court order, do not walk because of paralysis and refuses to reveal his identity.
The story is set soon after the reunification of West and East Germany, and is about the disintegrating relationship between Jockel a political activist and Stefan a heroin junkie, and their involvement with a bisexual Micha. A 2nd plot line is concerned with Micha's young son Sascha, and his life in a rundown world of drugs and poverty. His fascination with the creepy, exhibitionist puppeteer Firlefanz, whose grotesque puppets enact a gay fairy tale paralleling the relationship of Stefan and Jockel. Central to the disintegration of these characters is the drug dealer Ingolf, who 'pulls their strings' with heroin, instead of puppet wires.
