Topkapi is a caper comedy film about an international gang who plans to steal a priceless emerald from a museum in Istanbul. The gang consists of a gentleman thief, an acrobat, and a small-time crook, among others. Their plan involves double-crosses, secret plots, and various mishaps. As they navigate the rooftops of Istanbul, they must outsmart the museum's security and overcome numerous obstacles to successfully pull off the heist.

The city's District Attorney is murdered, and a newspaper reporter investigates. He starts finding out that everything wasn't quite as cut and dried as it appeared to be.

A respected but struggling interior decorator from a wealthy background moves in with some of her clients in order to meet their specific needs. In the process, she tends to become friends with the families and get drawn into their personal problems. In the pilot episode, she's hired by an oil tycoon to lavishly decorate a house on his property for his daughter and future son-in-law, secretly hoping that the obvious expense will cause the fiancé' to back out of the wedding.

Vineyard owner Randy Minola becomes captivated by the worldly Edella, much to the chagrin of his girlfriend Winnie.
