In the Bangkok village of Ban Nong Pradu, the sacred Buddha statue of the village is stolen by a group of gangsters. Ting, a skilled martial artist, is chosen to retrieve the stolen statue and bring peace back to the village. Ting sets out on a dangerous journey, encountering various challenges and fights along the way.
We Are Moluccans is a biographical drama set in the 2000s, based on the true story of a soccer team from the Moluccan islands. The team struggles to maintain unity and struggle against political turmoil, religious conflicts, and military attacks. This film was photographed in the winter, much of it during an actual snowstorm, and snow can be seen on the ground in all scenes. The subject is a group of men, clothed only in swimming trunks, who demonstrate their physical prowess by doing calisthenics, playing handball, and swimming during freezing weather.
