The first animated adaptation of the popular manga series, this pilot introduces the main characters of "Lupin the Third" with montages, presented through a short frame narrative illustrating a typical gang escape.

A lonely woman becomes infatuated with a seemingly friendly and helpful stranger. However, as their friendship deepens, it becomes clear that the stranger has a hidden agenda and is willing to go to extreme lengths to control and manipulate the woman's life. With her life turned upside down, the woman must find a way to break free from the clutches of the dangerous stranger.

Slip and Sach are working for a local newspaper as a reporter and photographer, respectively. Slip wants to get the goods on a local gambling ring that is fixing sporting events, so he and Sach go undercover to expose the ring.
