A disillusioned pilot shot down over war-torn Bosnia goes on the run from the local military and an assassin, as his commanding officer risks all to save him. During a reconnaissance mission, the pilot and navigator accidentally photograph mass graves, leading to their jet being shot down. The navigator is captured and executed, while the pilot evades the enemy and tries to contact his commanding officer for help. However, the officer is ordered not to rescue the pilot due to political complications. The pilot must find a way to survive and expose the war crimes committed by the enemy forces.
