Andrew Neimann enrolls at a music conservatory where he meets the strict and abusive instructor, Terence Fletcher. As Andrew strives for greatness, he faces intense pressure and humiliation. He becomes the core drummer, but his dreams are shattered when he is involved in a car accident. Andrew's life takes a turn when he is contacted by a lawyer representing a former student who committed suicide due to Fletcher's teaching methods. Andrew testifies against Fletcher, who is fired. However, Fletcher invites Andrew to perform at a festival concert, where he seeks revenge. Despite the humiliation, Andrew gives an electrifying performance.
